These Terms of Use govern your use of applications made by Outpost Labs LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), including Vegaris, Terrava, and any other apps we publish. By downloading or using our apps, you agree to these terms.
By accessing or using any Outpost Labs application, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use our apps.
Our apps are provided for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:
Some of our apps require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hi@outpostlabs.xyz if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Our apps may allow you to upload photos, notes, and other content. By uploading content, you grant Outpost Labs a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content within our apps and services. You represent that you own or have the rights to any content you upload, and that it does not violate any third-party rights.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or that we deem inappropriate, without notice.
Some features of our apps require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. Subscription fees are charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
We do not process payments directly and do not have access to your payment information. Refund requests should be directed to Apple.
All content in our apps — including illustrations, text, design, and code — is owned by Outpost Labs LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
Our apps use third-party services including Supabase, RevenueCat, Anthropic, and iNaturalist. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.
Our apps are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that our apps will be uninterrupted or error-free. Astronomical data and plant identification information provided by our apps is for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon for critical decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Outpost Labs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our apps. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of our apps shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our apps at any time, for any reason, including violation of these terms. You may stop using our apps at any time. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any subscription fees.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of our apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
